Events Overview
We don't expect everyone to be in town from June 30th to July 4th but making a long weekend when July 4th is on Tuesday is a challenge. We definitely want everyone there on Saturday night and hope you can be there to enjoy as much other activities as possible.
Friday, June 30
Drop-in at Local 31 Brewing Pub (Grownups only)
For people arriving on Friday who want to start the weekend early, we will meet up at Local 31 Brewing Pub at 31 Water Street.
This is an unofficial event. The Pub will be open to the public and there are no official events being organized so no registration needed.
By all means if you want to organize alternative meet-and-greets, shoot an email to Classof83Grizzlies@gmail.com and we'll add details here.
Saturday, July 1
Reunion Dinner (Registration required and Grownups only)
A catered dinner will be served at the Historic Ashland Armory located at 208 Oak Street in Ashland. A registration fee of $75 per person covers food (catered by Arbor House) plus all the items and people we must be rent or hire for this event (including a bartender for a no-host bar). The event will run from 5pm to 10pm with dinner around 6.
Registration is a two-step process: Fill out this form and you will get payment instructions in your confirmation email. Second, pay Laurinda. If you don't see the confirmation details, the pay options are to send $75 per person by using Venmo (@Laurinda-Sievers) or mailing a check to to the address below. If you need another form of payment or need extra time, shoot Laurinda an email (sieversml@aol.com).

Sunday, July 2
Jet Boat Ride (Registration required--Do it quickly to avoid a sellout)
To beat the heat, people of all ages are invited to join us for an exciting two-hour jet boat tour on the Rogue River with Hellgate Jetboat Excursions. They will group everyone together who uses this reservation code: 10569012319. Give them a call at 541-479-7204 and sign up for 1:45pm on 7/2 with that code.
Cost is $59 per person. You can also sign up online here (Hellgate.com). If you do decide to purchase online, you'll want to show up early enough to grab a place in line with your AHS classmates. And one more reminder: Book early before they sell out.
Monday, July 3
Event revised Golfing at Oak Knoll (Registration required)
Revised Plan: While we didn't have enough interest for a full field event, it looks like we have enough for a few foursomes starting at 1pm. If you are interested in playing, send an email to Classof83Grizzlies@gmail.com ASAP. This is now a golf-only excursion so while we'll book the reservations and you will pay at the golf course. Cost for 18 holes is $36.
Afterward, we're going to head to Northwest Pizza Company (formerly known as Angelo's) to grab pizza. Any non-golfers also invited to come for Pizza!

Previous plan: A Four-Person scramble will be held at Oak Knoll Golf Course followed by a casual catered dinner. Beer and Wine will be available for purchase from the course. Event cost is $75 for golfers and $25 for non-golfers. Look for updates here as we get more details confirmed by Oak Knoll. Golfer's fee will include golf, a cart (limited to 40 golfers), food and prizes. Non-golfers can participate in the post-round food, cornhole and socializing from about 5p-8pm. If you want in, just send an email to Classof83Grizzlies@gmail.com to say you want to participate. Between '83 Grizzlies and significant others, we hope to fill out a field of 56 golfers.
Tuesday, July 4th
Parade/Lithia Park
Attend Ashland's Historic July 4th Parade and visit Lithia Park. As we get closer, we'll try to identify a meeting place to say our goodbyes.
